Updating address book on mac
Default fields include: Address Book can search LDAP directories.
Users customize these in the LDAP tab of the preferences.
Address Book has two viewing modes: View Card and Column, and View Card Only.
The user can switch between modes with a control in the upper-left portion of the window under the close box.
I just went to system preferences and clicked on i Cloud and saw that "contacts" was not checked off. Because it has attracted low-quality or spam answers that had to be removed, posting an answer now requires 10 reputation on this site (the association bonus does not count).
Unfortunately the formatting looks horrid and there is no way to change it or disable the feature. The first thing you should do to make sure you still have your addresses on i Cloud, provided you used to sync them to i Cloud, is to log on to with your Apple ID and password. Then you should be able to go to the i Cloud account settings in System Preferences (you can use the Spotlight option in System Preferences to find it if you need help) and make sure you're signed in to i Cloud and that you have Contacts selected to sync.
