Tvgos not updating
This will happen in two phases, first with the PBS affiliates in November 2012, which seemingly has already happened, followed by the CBS and other commercial affiliates between November 2012 and April 2013.
As a result if you have lost an affiliate already, there is no reason to expect a new one to replace it.
Rabbit Ears reserves the right to delist any station, ownership group, network, or other entity noted on Rabbit Ears at any time and for any reason.
Rovi has announced that it will be discontinuing the TVGOS service over the air and moving to Internet only distribution, meaning only compatibility with V10.1 or newer will continue.
It continues to be available through the Internet for Internet-connected sets and receivers. Some select digital TVs, DVRs, and converter boxes utilize TVGOS for guide data.

I just read through all of my TV Guide On Screen and DVD manuals and I don't see anything to indicate that my Panasonic DRM-E500H can access TVGOS from the internet.
Does the Motorola (dct6200) box filter out the tvgos stream? The splitter you put in could be knocking out just enough signal to not allow the box to download guide data...
Try removing the splitter and rebooting the box to see if that helps Thanks for the reply AZwldcats. The tvgoslisting wasn't populated until the coax was introduced.
