Outlook inbox folder not updating
The route in Ping Plotter is showing Firewall GW Out To The Internet for about 15-25 seconds and then recover. Log in to the firewall (Juniper SRX210) and the uptime for the VPN is 1 minute. Our Network Engineers swore the connection was stable. Every 20-25 minutes the VPN would flap, PL to the DC (of course), Outlook would barf up a bunch of Event ID 19 and 26, and we'd eventually get email stuck in the Outbox.
The timing lines up for all events.3) Get Netmon running on the test workstations and the Exchange CAS.
-premises/So you could give that a shot with a couple of workstations to see if it helps with the problem. If connectivity is lost between outlook and exchange, this happens.
I've also seen it when there is no access to a domain controller.
Send/Receive has no effect.- 25 out of ~150 users experience this issue, from multiple remote sites, no one at HQ is affected.- Issue is sporadic, it may happen 3 times in 2 days and then no issue for a week.; microsoft.support = microsoft.support
Here's the rundown: Issue:- Inbound email does not appear in Outlook Inbox although it arrives in cell phone and shows up in OWA.- Outbound email stays in Outlook Outbox.- Inbox/Outbox updates after restarting Outlook or changing to Work Offline then back to Online.
I would check that there is no issue between the DC's and the Exchange server.
